Chasing Dreams

I’d felt when dreams are held to tightly
Opening your hand only to loose them to the winds

There are times when it falls, far from the heart
A smile passed on, keeps it all from falling apart

In the wilderness of changes, paths may divide
I don’t know why, I will keep it all inside

It’s not the road to a goal
More due to the dreams you claim
as your own.

I'd had written anything for some time, though the words are always there at the edge of my heart.

Sometimes like a flowing stream they just won't be held back.

Hi Laura, thanks for your warm welcome.

I so much think of my friends here this bloggest sphere, hoping all are doing well and those who struggle will soon find their solid ground again.

It reminds me when I was on tour a lot, I'd loved what I was doing but there's nothing like coming home...

Hi Shadow, how are things over there?

I'd have been very fortunate to chase my dreams and pursue the passions in my life, it's the thrill of the chase that drives me.

Love your poem! Whether it's the goal itself or the journey dreams sure are the driving force.
