Lost Dreams

I thought I knew the pain
How it was going to be
Only I’d stayed
The broken road

Somewhere lost

What was so dear
Like secretes that fell
To hollow spaces
Beneath the stones

A leaf at play in a stream
Flows the distance
Chasing hopes so clear
loosing to the waves

Holding close the time
I have left to dream
Keeping them dry
From the rain...

George,
Beautiful words, made me reflect... I don't believe in broken roads... but nonetheless I cherish the dreams.
